Grandparents/Special Persons Day is an opportunity for current families to visit Kindergarten through Grade 9 at Applewild School with your grandchild or special child.  We hope you will be able to join us on Friday, May 9, 2008!  The day will begin at 9:00 a.m. with registration, refreshments and the Head of School's welcome in the Alumni Center for Performing Arts located in our Marshall Lower School facility followed by:

FOR UPPER SCHOOL GUESTS:
Classroom visits, lunch and student performances

FOR LOWER SCHOOL GUESTS:
A special program, classroom visits and lunch.  Kindergarten through grade 3 will be dismissed at their usual Friday dismissal time, which is 12:00 noon.  However, guests of these children and encouraged to remain forwith their grandchild/special child.  Fourth and fifth grade students will remain in school until 2:30 p.m. and guest of these children lunch  are invited to attend class after lunch and enjoy the performance at 1:30 p.m.

Lunch will be served under a big tent outside the Marshall Building this year!!

Some parking will be available on campus, but there will be additional parking at Burbank Hospital.  (Please watch for the signs!)  Complimentary shuttle vans will be provided for transportation between the Burbank parking lot and throughout the Applewild campus.
