Current Work:
Nat is a dermatologist (Mohs surgeon) subspecializing in nail diseases, with academic appointments at Brown University and the University of Massachusetts. He has been working in this field since finishing his training five years ago. He works at the University of Dermatology in Providence, RI, and was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2006, 2007, 2008.

Favorite Applewild memories:
My favorite Applewild memories include Leaf Day each year – all the raking, games, and then Wachusett Mountain to top it off; our basketball team coached by Dr. Marshall; awkward dances, listening to “Stairway to Heaven”; hiking up to the Upper Field together; and, maybe my most favorite memory of all – recess football games!
Teachers:
There were so many Applewild teachers that had a strong and positive impact on my education – M. Chamas, Mr. Collings, Mr. Mullins, Mrs. Holloway, Mrs. Kahn, Mr. Hamilton, Mr. Stancato, and Dr. Marshall are just a few that come to mind.
Applewild experience:
An Applewild education taught me to write, taught me to study, inspired me to be stimulated by learning and continue to challenge myself. It was a near-ideal school experience that exposed me to so much beyond the academics: photography, pottery, shop, theatre, music, and athletics.
Applewild impact:
Applewild kick-started my education and propelled me through high school and college, (then back to Applewild as an intern!), through medical school and residency. It gave me a well-rounded education, and molded my work habits, both of which have benefited me in all aspects of life. These days, I feel its impact most powerfully when I think of my own family: Applewild set a very high bar with regard to the educational expectations I have for my children.
