Applewild School Financial Aid is available to all students and applicants at Applewild based on demonstrated financial need. At Applewild, we believe financial aid is a critical means of assuring both the socio-economic and cultural diversity that benefits all of our families. Through our private school financial aid program, we strive to assist those families who would otherwise not be able to attend Applewild. Approximately thirty percent of our families receive some level of financial aid. In addition, we offer a variety of scholarship opportunities based on academic promise or achievement and demonstrated financial need. All families must re-apply each year for financial aid to confirm continued financial need.
Our current Financial Aid policy allows families with children in grades K through five to receive up to a maximum of 50% of tuition based on need. Families with children in grades six through nine are eligible to receive up to a maximum of 90% of need. All awards, however, are dependent on need as determined by the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) as well as on the availability of financial aid dollars. Because there are often more requests for financial aid than we can accommodate, first consideration is given to those families who submit applications by February 1st.
Applewild School has a Merit Scholarship Program aimed at admitting students of exceptional academic caliber into the sixth grade program.
Families wishing to apply for financial aid should indicate their interest on the application form. A financial aid packet will be mailed separately upon request.
Decisions regarding admission are made independently of financial aid decisions and do not affect a candidate’s eligibility for admission. All financial aid information is confidential.
