Director of Admission and Financial Aid
   

 

 The Director of Admission and Financial aid is a key administrative position which reports to the Head of School and staffs the Board’s Marketing and Diversity committees.  The Director prepares and delivers Admission and Financial Aid reports at Board meetings.  Responsibilities include comprehensive oversight and management of the admission office, including implementation of our marketing plan, candidate attraction, evaluation, financial aid explanation, and monthly/historical data compilation and interpretation as well as oversight of public relations and web.

 

The successful candidate will be personable, able to speak and write compellingly about K-9 independent education, and motivate volunteers; organized, goal oriented, and a planner with computer/web skills, flexibility and energy to set and reach goals with one assistant and the help of the Head of School.

Librarian: Full time Kindergarten – grade 9


Qualifications: An MLS degree or equivalent and emphasis in children’s and juvenile literature (K – 9), experience working with elementary and/or middle school aged children in a teaching a/o school setting, up-to-date technology skills, good communication skills, and the desire to collaborate with faculty in integrating library and subject content curriculum.

 

Duties: As Director of Library Services, manage two separate libraries, maintain book collection, library catalog and online resources, teach library skills classes to grades K-4, teach research skills to grades 3-9 as needed, collaborate with faculty to design curriculum, conduct book talks, maintain library webpage, and coordinate volunteers.
